Tate began his career as a professional photographer at just 18 years old. His early success in fashion photography quickly opened the door to the world of television commercials and music videos, where he developed a distinctive visual style and cinematic approach to storytelling.
With more than 30 years of industry experience, Tate has directed across a wide range of genres, from documentary series and commercial advertising to corporate brand films. Alongside his directing career, his extensive photography portfolio spans fashion, food, lifestyle, and major advertising campaigns for leading global brands.
Tate is the lead film director, photographer and head creative at Liquid Light Studios.
